Ormonde Hill
Look, no snow!
I nearly cancelled this morning's walk as it was such a miserable start to the day. But I was sooooo pleased I didn't, as for a short while the sun came out and as usual the view was stunning. But the wind was bitter ( I think I might have said that before!)
The start of the walk was hilarious. Tom was using the car, so Shiela said
"I'll pick you up, Poppy and Bud can go in the back with Freddie."
"Are you sure, do you really want 3 muddy dogs in your car instead of just 1?"
"They"ll be fine, don't worry."
Freddie is a big dog, Poppy is also not small, Bud is small but he has a big attitude.
Sheila and Freddie arrived, Poppy and Bud stood calmly by the boot waiting, the boot opened, Freddie the bombshell leapt out, all chaos ensued, Luckily we live at the end of a cul de sac as they were in instant chase mode.
Once we had regained control, Poppy jumped into the car, unfortunately it wasn't the boot, Freddie jumped into the boot and tried to get through to Poppy in the front, Bud just barked! Poppy was dragged out of the front seat and into the boot with Freddie, we were starting to think we were nearly there. That was until Bud got in. He just stood there, pulled himself up to full height, glared at Poppy and Freddie and growled, out they both jumped.
Eventually, rather frazzled we were all in the car and off we went. The rest of the walk was rather tame in comparison.
