Not a Good Day!

It was a " nothing is going right" day!

"Let's go to Brahan Woods, then we can stop off on the way back for a cup of tea and a scone" it sounded like a good idea. The weather app said it was going to be sunny, perhaps the odd shower but nothing more. NO mention of torrential rain. I should have had more sense, there was more than enough mud to satisfy any self respecting spaniel. Bud happily splashed and squelched his way round the woods until the rain sent us all back to the car. Not a good walk!

But the tea and scones were very welcome. We stopped off at the Storehouse of Foulis, it was warm and friendly, the gooseberry jam delicious, we deserved it!
