A Cold Photo Shoot

Well, I ask you! What would the past Presbyterian Elders of St Giles Cathedral have thought had they seen this girl with all that bare flesh, on shoes that were almost stilts, walking along the side of their Kirk in temperatures hovering around zero.

She must have been feeling the chill, but the workmen lounging against the wall opposite certainly looked as though they were feeling the warmth.
Even the respectable bus pass holder at my side, the doughty Lord Findhorn was seen to smile as he remarked on her attributes, and not necessarily that of her heel balancing ability!

Apparently today is called 'Blue Monday' because it has been judged to be the most depressing day of the year. Someone somewhere has looked at statistics and decided that today is the day when we are at our lowest ebb.

Well, here the sun is shining out a blue sky and things can only get better, can't they?
