Baking Bunheads

Ballet this morning. Costume trials. I say costume. It's a sparkly skirt. She wore it last year. It was too big for most of the kids last year. It's still too big for most of the kids. We (the chaperones) will be taking a stock of safety pins. But it's cute! 

We headed straight back from ballet, via the shop for a bit of food. Katie chilled out watching a bit of a movie she'd started. Just after lunch, friends of hers arrived for an afternoon playdate. Katie, E & S ran up the stairs before their parents had even left. They spent a nice time doing glitter glue pictures before coming downstairs to bake biscuits. A snack time and then it was playing doctors, mummies and babies, holidays and more. 

Their parents are coming back before teatime, when Katie and I are going for tea at the neighbours. A good Saturday!
