Jubilee trees

Thank you for all the messages of support and encouragement for my return to work today. It went well, though I was tired when I got home. A snooze on the sofa put that right.

To mark Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee our local Church is having a tree planting in the village, with trees representing all the Churches and local voluntary organisations. But I am missing it as I am glued to the TV to watch the arrival of a gold coloured aeroplane carrying 4 lanterns that contain The Flame.

On Radio Lancashire this morning I learned the lanterns are in seats 1a and 1b with a fire warden in seat 1c. I know, that's a totlly useless piece of information!

What did excite me though is that the BBC is showing a live feed of the Torch Relay on the web with a "Torchcam" showing each person as they run with The Flame. I do hope I can get a copy of my footage.
