Wasn't to be

I wasted spent most of the morning glued to my pc watching the torchcam on the Torch Relay. It really became quite addictive and not at all good for productivity.

Late morning I prised myself away for long enough to go for a 6 mile run, which I really enjoyed. The inspiration from watching the relay and my own anticipation resulted in a run that felt really easy but was also faster than I intended.

Then off to a pub this afternoon to see if Blackpool could repeat their achievement of two years ago and win the Championship Play Off Final. I took this before kick off. I did plan to get one when Blackpool scored but I was too busy joining in the celebrations to blip then!
In short, no they couldn't but in true Blackpool style they will once again have gained a lot of friends, and the game was very entertaining.

I'm not sure tonight's Champions League Final will reach the heights this one did.

It's been a great season for me. Carlisle finished 8th, AFC Fylde and Fleetwood were promoed and Blackpool almost pulled it off. If I'd been offered that back in August I'd have said "Yes please"
