We walked on the beach for quite a ways when we turned around to go back to where we had started. We were just about to exit the beach when these two bicyclists rode  past us. I started thinking about how fun this beach is and I decided that this beach has "personality."
 
I’ve been to beaches that have "attitude" – the beach goers need just the right beach towel, the right swimsuit, the right beach bag. Good grief.
 
Cayucos beach is a “come as you are” and have fun doing whatever you want to do. I like that. This beach has surfers, skim-boarders, sunbathers, walkers, sea shell hunters, sand castle builders, and horseback riders. There’s kelp harvesting, shore fishing, sea glass searching.  Brides and bride’s maids, grooms and groomsmen are here too. This shoreline is oozing with "personality." It’s a very interesting places.
