Can We Go Home Now.Mum?

Kate & Sophie joined us for a New Year's Day lunch. It was the first time Sophie had visited us here and it was strange and wonderful to hear baby noises (well, most of them) in our house again.

Couldn't resist this cute shot of her all wrapped up and ready to go home. Hope you'll indulge me, with another Sophie shot. Not sure that the novelty will wear off for me, though. Last New Year's Day I would never have imagined I'd be able to take a photo of our grandchild today. It's been a pretty momentous year!
