Damp Squib

After last night's spectacular firework display, today has definitely been a damp squib. I was hoping to bring you exciting action from Yeovil's win over Watford this evening but unfortunately the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and flooded stadium, so I'll have to shelve that particular fantasy until the game is rearranged!

Walked as far as the supermarket in the pouring rain this morning and have then spent the afternoon watching two Premiership matches on BT - a lazy, indulgent way to start the New Year, after an equally lazy, indulgent New Year's Eve: even this blip was taken during the TV coverage of the post-midnight pyrotechnics. I am resolved to be less of a damp squib and get out more from tomorrow onwards!
