Adieu 2014

As we watched the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, Nikki and I reflected on the year that has just passed. 

All being told, 2014 was a good year for our family.  We're happy, healthy and about to welcome another wee baby into our lives.

We were fortunate to spend the second half of 2014 in Southern California, and we've certainly done our best to make the most of the change in lifestyle.  We'll all be a little sad to leave this place in April but we're also excited to return to Edinburgh and enrol the wee man in his Montessori school.

We'll be cocooning ourselves up for the next few months but we're already plotting our adventures for 2015.  Plenty of visits from our family, combined with a tour of Route 66 should kick things off in style.
