Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
Sadly this photo wasn't taken in Brighton, it's wet and windy here!
Rachel, Scott and Scarlett headed home today and had a nightmare of a journey which took about 6 hours. By the time they got home it was snowing and Rach took this photo of Scarlett. It's the firs time she's ever seen snow and apparently loved it, and didn't want to go to bed.
As for us, we've had a nice relaxing day - Alan and I walked into Rottingdean as apparently every Boxing Day there's a tug of war between the local pubs, but I think we got there a bit early as nothing was going on. So we went to Beyond Design for a hot chocolate and a mince pie, and then walked home.
Watched the Downton Abbey Christmas special this afternoon - such a pity it's not on now until the spring.
All in all we've had a pretty lazy day, and we're going to have an early night as we've decided to drive mum home tomorrow. She's better than she was, but still not 100% and is supposed to be going home by train on Monday when I'm back in work. I'm worried that it'll be too much for her, so although it's a 10 hour round trip, it'll be worth it to know she's home and also I can take her to Waitrose and do her shopping for the next week.
If I can get my iPhone linked with the Blip website which I've struggled to do, I can catch up with you while Alan's driving, but if not, I hope you have a great weekend!
