The pink bucket

The holiday company have several "swap boxes" around the hotel, where guests can leave items behind they don't want to take back home, such as unused suntan lotion, magazines, toys etc. Ethan acquired a lovely pink disney bucket and spade today which he seems to prefer playing with, rather than the blue one we brought with us!

We had been worried before we came out here, how we'd manage to get him to have day time naps, as he usually only has one in the car or by going for a long walk in the pushchair. However we needn't have worried as so far, he has had one every day without us even trying! Today, he fell asleep on the sunlounger and had a mega nap. That's my boy!

It's a shame his night time sleeps aren't as long as we'd like. He has been difficult to get to bed at night since his trip to hospital a few weeks ago, and he's still not going to bed till 9.30pm / 10pm here. We've just accepted it for now, and instead of having a bedtime battle, we're going to the hotel bar after dinner, where they have kids shows on from 7.30pm till 9pm which he is enjoying. Then, back to our room where he's sharing the double bed with me and hubbie is on the sofa bed in the living area!
