Not so blue

Squidge dressed in blue reading her new Olaf the snowman book before nursery this morning (pictured). She was a happy wee thing today, as was I, as was Angus - things were so much better than yesterday.

Got home last night and we made up, cracked open a bottle of red and watched the quite frankly outstanding last episode of The Fall. Have to confess to being slightly in love with both Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan (all serial killerish tendencies aside obvs).

I worked so hard yesterday that today was actually quite relaxed (wow). I even managed to watch some telly with Angus at lunch with our beans on toast on our laps. It's the small things.

Found out my friend has had her little girl today too (and all is well). Been worrying as knew she'd been induced yesterday but I hadn't heard from her in the last 24 hours so it was a relief when a beautiful picture of her little lady popped up in my text messages. I can so remember that first night. Brought back lots of fond memories.

I've bought the a Radio Times and am currently sat circling Christmas telly now while Angus baths the little one. Festive mood returning....have a great weekend all!
