This morning we did some glueing, I had cut up loads of different colours of paper into squares and we stuck them onto some fish shapes I had also cut out along with 'sparklies' (of course) to make rainbow fish. Amelie loved the idea but when it came down to it, really just wanted to paint the fish with glue...

The weather changed around lunchtime so after her nap, when it was time to go out, it was pouring. So we got our wellies and jackets on and headed out anyway. We went to Boots to get some special shampoo for her as she has had a very dry flakey scalp. Then we just carried on walking and ended up in the department store. Amelie had great fun sniffing candles, climbing on triangle steps (spiral staircase leading upstairs!), sitting on sofas, looking out the windows and eventually settling down in the cafe for a(nother) hot chocolate. She was playing on the attention from the posh people sitting at a table behind us and kept running away, then when I brought her back announcing to them ''My ran away'' and giggling. Then she started fake burping and saying excuse me. I was mortified!

She has been doing a lot of imaginative play recently, complete with different voices for different characters (be it dolls, her sea life bath creatures, her dummies or her fingers...)and its so funny to listen to!
