When Chris went to work this morning Amelie asked him if he was going on a stag do! I think that everytime he leaves the house from now on, she will suspect he is actually at another stag do.

After spending the whole day insisting on painting, when I eventually got the paints out for her she painted for 5 minutes and was then done. She spent much longer in the sink washing up her pots and brushes.

Our wedding gifts from our gift list arrived today! Yippee! Although it did mean waiting in from 2pm onward because they couldn't tell me when they would be here. We sat down for dinner (homemade fish fingers and sweet potato chips) at 6.45 and as I sat down I thought ''They are going to come right now'' and the door buzzer went 2 seconds later. Nevertheless the gifts are here and looking lovely! A few things without homes at yet but it won't be long before they all have homes.

Which means, I'd better get going with the thank you notes. Hand making and hand writing them, of course, which means I've made about half (30) and written about 6 so far...
