Party

The birthday isn't until Tuesday but the party was today. Gifts were opened, games were played, food was consumed and party bags were duly dispensed. It was a select crowd, smaller than in previous years. In fact, we had a bit of room to spare, if I'd known not seeing straight was celebrating by himself he could have come along add added to the numbers (we've still got cake left but the party bags were counted out exactly, soz).

I know a few songs with 'party' in the title, I think my favourite might well be the one by that man who has special things to do.
