Preparation

Much of the afternoon spent baking with the girls, making stuff in preparation for an imminent party for a five year old. Foil covered plates containing baked goods now cover the kitchen.

Evening out at the theatre for new National Theatre of Scotland production, Dunsinane. Rather enjoyed it, couple of performances in particular were pretty outstanding.

A man of my age is allowed the odd musical indulgence and today I have been revisiting old ground with some terrific old Slowdive tunes. Check the guitars on this one. Crikey Mikey - that takes me back.

Right, tomorrow afternoon our house is going to be full of pre-school children in full party mode. Best turn-in.
