triffic traffic!

wowser, a good nights sleep! not surprising after the night before. today was 'allegedly' going to be scorchio! set off early doors so i could park up and enjoy a mile walk into work. however, the traffic for reasons unknown, was a nightmare. in the end it took me 50 minutes to get from my house to the tram at Phoenix Park. didn't stress me though, cos i'd dusted off an old CD, of James Bond theme tunes....who can get road rage listening to Matt Monroe!

only a few of us in the office again today, at least the tea rounds get easier! wandered out at lunch, wanted to buy my M&S jubilee cake (yeah, i know i should have made it, buy tbh, time is a little tight at the minute!). popped down to the station to pick up some tickets. made me think that one weekend i'm just going to go there, armed with camera, and get a return ticket to somewhere random...must do that soon.

well in terms of the weather, it was warm, more humid to be honest, and late afternoon it started to rain. my plan was to take a picture of a field near me (which looks like it's corn or something!), which is all golden and looks stunning when the sun shines on it, and the breeze blows too. but, unfortunately, the rain stopped play! therefore, i had to practice indoors, having read a little more of my book, and experimenting with manual mode!

good news too in that mum has had an offer on her house. i think she'll take it, which means big time push on work at 49! now, wining down with a nice rioja...here's to Fridays!
