World Aid Walk

Today Jonathan, Sophie and Daddy went on the World Aid Walk - it's a 20km walk around some of Guernsey in aid of a number of charities.
Unlike last year when it rained tipped it down for the second half of the walk, ah happy memories of horizontal hail blowing in our faces from St Sampson to Town, this year it remained dry throughout.
Lots of bribery encouragement later "have another chocolate bar", "have another sweet" we got round with aching feet and legs.
Our spirits were lifted at the end when we received our medals and had a Le Hechet Farm icecream to round off the day.

Our thanks to our support team of Tracy and Nan sitting in the comfort of home awaiting our distress call who also turned out a wonderful supper when we got home.
