Trying to look intelligent

but all of us failing miserably, except maybe for Corin, who seems to be able to carry off 'Geek Chic' with a certain amount of newsreader type gravitas!

Thought I had had enough sleep so I got up when everyone else did this morning, I crashed and burned around 1pm, so they all went out to Risley Moss and left me zonked out on the sofa.

It's lovely having Chris and Faye here. Chris has barbequed for us this evening. Spicy pork steaks, a whole joint of lamb, stuffed with garlic and covered in cumin and coriander. Lots of fresh salady veg and home made raita with fresh mint from the garden. Yum.

We've been to the astroturf and played footy. Chris then took Faye for a ride in an abandoned shopping trolley.

Now we are sat outside by the fire, toasting marshmallows and being silly, trying to temper the disappointment of a cloudy sky with the slight excitement that in just short of two hours, I MIGHT be on the magic picture box. We will see :-)
