A Terrace House

I took Alex to an AFL match yesterday in the posh end of town, the Eastern Suburbs where the rich and famous live. This house caught my attention: it was one in a row of terraces with brightly coloured doors and stainless steel shutters. The houses were west facing and in the summer would be unbearably hot without the ability to 'shut the house up', to keep the penetrating midday sun at bay.
