Mr JP

Mr JP has been a patient of mine for several years. He has had a very stormy time throught his illness but has been someone who always picks himself up again and gets back to having a good quality of life despite serious health problems. He has frequently refused to be seen by any other doctor other than myself which has been tricky at times as he has needed advice from other specialists!! If you listen to people's pain stories and take them seriously they don't forget you easily. However, he is very sick now and he and I know that it will be very hard to get home one more time. I had his permission to take this photo and I think he was quite chuffed that I'm going to use it in blipfoto.
