Working Bee at a Work Bee

Had a great morning with 2 of my kids. (The 3rd one had to work.) Their subdivision was having a sub sale. I loaded my bike into my truck, and went to their house. We all rode bikes around the sub, instead of fighting the traffic.

It was a weird day to have the sale. Some parts of Flint got up to 10 inches of rain in 2 days. Some of the homeowners in the sub were cleaning out their flooded homes. Piles and piles of boxes and furniture went straight to the curb. I could only think that if it depressed me...just think how they must be feeling. Sad.

I bought a Lazy-boy for my den, and a few other things. 4 shells from a little girl...just because she was cute... 4 dvd's, and a pair of shorts.

My brother-in-law borrowed my good camera for a graduation today...so I took my old one off into the woods behind my house. Butterflies, bees, and a robin. The bees were in a strange way. They were almost sparring. Hover, hover, hover...then a mid-air collision...almost a head butt. Tried, but failed to capture.

This bee is a beauty. It was the only shot I got that showed off the wings. Wing it into LARGE for a closer look. It looks like he has fingerprints on his wings. SOMEBODY CALL THE B-CSI !!!! We'll get to the bottom of this!
