Evening light on the mountains

Today started with a frost but it has been a picture perfect day.

We walked around the other side of Achnahaird Beach and round the headland leading eventually to Garvie Bay and then along the road back to the head of the beach. 6 miles in total without a cloud in the sky!

We were pretty much on our own apart from the seals. Seals in Enard Bay

After a laid back afternoon we took a stroll to the beach again as the sun went down. The mountains were spectacular and as I didn't have my telephoto lens last time I was here I couldn't resist taking them again a bit closer!

This An Teallach and nearby peaks across Loch Broom from Achiltibuie. You can just make out some of the houses of this village in the foreground. It is about 4 miles away from Achnahaird.
