Over the sea to Skye?

Well no actually we are coming back! As we were in this area for two nights we felt we should at least cross the Skye Bridge before heading further north and this is the view as we returned to Lochalsh. Last time Chris and I were in this area the bridge didn't exist and we crossed to Skye by ferry. I can't help think it was a bit more romantic that way but no doubt this is much better for the locals, especially as they did a way with the tolls.

It was a beautiful morning again as you can see and we had a pleasant journey through Wester Ross arriving in Ullapool as a 'tall ship' was coming into berth. Here with snow capped Ben Wyvis in the back ground

The evening sun at Achnahaird encouraged us to walk down to the beach after we had settled in to the wee house and the sheep seemed pleased to see us too.
