Confession

Today work started with strategic planning meeting and our team presentation. It went well*

Funny ole things going on in other bits of my life and nothing I can make sense of yet.

Tuesday evenings are tricky - a lot of too and fro-ing to Scouts, but the girls love it, the other kids, the leaders, the activities and look so smart in their uniforms that it's worth it.

*The Literature Team gave out fortune cookies with quotes on them. I LOVE THIS SORT OF STUFF!

I just *knew* that it would mean something to me...I dipped my hand in the bag and pulled out the cookie that had this quote stuck on its wrapper:

"I shall take the heart" returned the Tin Woodman; "for brains do not make one happy, and happiness is the best thing in the world."

I'm a bit soft and I blinked back the tear but did keep a tight hold on the clever cookie.

When I got home I just *knew* that when I broke the cookie in half it would mean something to me...and it did ;)
