Chasing Cars

Busy day getting ready for our Doctor Who event at the weekend and getting the final details of our youth summer programme together. Phew.

The girls were home tonight and they got stuck into their home writing with no complaints - they were really good.

I have been planning to either get a decal or paint a phrase on my bedroom wall - since I moved the butterflies into Lily's room and tonight was sizing it up. I think I'll stencil the letters and paint them in. It will take a long time but I quite like the idea of doing a bit every day.

It's been a strange / sad / nice / confidence denting / confidence lifting couple of weeks.

Well, what can I say? I don't like things to be too run of the mill.

Lovely people who care about me have been giving me good advice, for once I'll take it* and... that feels quite nice.
