Day 3 - North Conway, NH

A short drive into the mountains from Portland to North Conway, home of a steam railway (yey!) and umpteen factory outlets, so both of us happy. Got a few bargains, especially at the Ralph Lauren store ($9 for a t-shirt?!), had BLTs on Main Street at the Stairway Cafe, then looked at the big old locomotives at the railway.

Home for the night is the retro-tastic Colonial Motel - pushing the boat out at $70 for our King room - immaculate condition though, cosy, but lacking the next to bed hot-tub that more expensive ones have - euuugh! That's our red Chevvy-mobile parked near it though!

Sat outside our room drinking Starbucks and typing this - we're living the American dream! Pool and burgers tonight if we can find somewhere.
