post-op +1
(Sorry not a very good photo - tried several times but this was the only one with his eye open, as he is finding it difficult to open the eye at all). We were back at the eye hospital today for a check up. They removed the bandages and now my husband has to have drops every three hours. He said today he could see some light but there was still a disc in the centre but we don't expect any improvement for a while. He has been signed off from work for two weeks and has to lie down or sit with his head forward for most of the day, so we've been listening to audio books and I've been painting, so just a quiet day.
Don't want to stray far from home much this weekend anyway as it is the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix and think the roads will be bad. There's been more sirens than usual here tonight and I went to get the washing in and the tear gas hit me. Oh well just a normal day here. After 14 months of troubles we are all used to it. And it used to happen even before last spring.
Thank you everyone for all your lovely kind good wishes for my husband yesterday.
