Alley Ambiance
There's something quite special about a pocket garden carved out of a tiny space in the heart of a city, and this is one of my favorites.
I'm fortunate to see it often, as it's outside the back entrance to the YMCA. Phil (passing by here) and I go to the Y three mornings a week for fitness classes (me) and pickleball (him). When we're lucky enough to find a free parking space in the Y's tiny lot, we enter the building near this little garden, and I always stop to see what's new there.
It's particularly pretty at this time of year, with tulips finally in bloom. And on a rainy day, like this one -- and so many others -- the colors really pop!
