Old Fire Escape
Had to go into town today to do some shopping. Tesco mainly! I had run out of sultanas for my porridge and we were dangerously low on tea bags! No tea bags means not a happy bunny!
It is still very very cold in Shetland. Although the lambs are starting to come now in their two's three's and sometimes four's, I still feel they get off to a bad start when the the weather is not favourable.
But they seem to be thriving OK and that is the main thing.
My actual blip photo today was taken near the entrance to the Job Centre where I had an appointment. I have always wondered where this door leads to. I suspect at one time it was a fire escape, which wouldn't pass muster now with all the red tape, dotting of i's and stroking of t's.
In fact, I would neither go up nor down this rusty old ladder. It would probably be safer to jump, but underneath now is a car park so you may have someone's insurance company after you!
Oh well, we all get a little rusty eventually I guess.
Have a happy day!
