Cockle Shell Scarf
Another Shetland themed blip today. Thank you to all who have been so interested in the others I have done over the last few days.
I'm trying to catch up on some knitted items this weekend, but here is one I managed to finish.
It's my very first attempt at a Shetland pure lace wool cockle shell scarf.
The colour is a lovely pale green with flecks of pale blue, lavender, pink and other subtle colours which have blended in so well during the dyeing process.
I do prefer to use only the natural colours of the Shetland sheep but this wool is beautiful in real life and I knew it was my first choice for my first cockle shell scarf.
Now I need to finish my other scarf and shawl!
Maybe post them on here soon!
Off for a lazy Sunday cup of tea now.
Hope you are all having a good day.
