Surprise!

My brother and his wife had a surprise party for my nephew's 18th birthday. It was a big surprise and this is him as he arrived into the kitchen where we all popped party poppers at him.

My sister-in-law had put up a feast for us all and her sister had styled a birthday cake of an XBox belonging to my nephew. It was a great day of family and laughter (especially when my sister-in-law was popping the champagne and she was left holding the cork while the bottle went flying! My brother danced around singing 'it's not my fault', he was delighted!).

E was so good despite being the focus of attention, and suffered us adults for the day very well. He is off to Australia for the summer after his Leaving Cert. His life awaits him.
