Tableau Rasa

All the furniture in my house is second hand. Today...that changed. I just bought myself a brand spanking new table, and set of 6 chairs for my kitchen. They were offered at a knock down price today only, so I went for it.

I have a pain in my face looking at suites of furniture for the sitting room. Spent over an hour in Cost Plus Sofas today. They sales guy told me that if I bought the 'Care Programme' insurance for an extra E200 (!), I would be covered for damage....even super glue (which apparently no other insurance would touch:). Unfortunately it does not cover cats using the new sofa as a scratching post. I'll keep looking.

Went for a jar later with BD and P.
