Talavera Shopping

Today we took a little trip to Delores Hidalgo to shop for Talavera pottery. My wife has talked about visiting one of the prime places where they manufacture Talavera-style (style because only certified plants in Puebla can legally create original Talavera) pottery since we moved to Mexico. It was almost too much even for her. Shop after shop after shop, selling pottery of all kinds, line both sides of a kilometer long stretch of Delores Hidalgo's main drag. The patterns and colors are overwhelming, but the selections made for some interesting photos.
