On a cold and frosty morning

After yesterday's heavy snow, we awoke to a clear blue sky after a frosty night. A quick look round the garden suggested nothing had been fatally damaged, though a few things were looking decidedly droopy.

Including these Hellebores, which I blipped last year.

As we drove into Edinburgh it was sad to see the rows of daffodils that the farmer had planted some years ago along a stretch of the main road. They were beautiful at the start of the week. Today they were all dead - killed by the frost. This has been a confusing Spring.
