What a Lovely April Fool's!

Ha! For the first time in maybe three years, when I turned on the kitchen sink this morning, the sprayer was NOT taped, so as to spray water all over me! I consider that a great April first!

Yesterday, we made a special trip to our local Lowe's Home Center to buy the plant above for my mother-in-law. Every year for Easter, it has been a tradition to buy her a pretty Easter Lily. How many Easter Lilies can one appreciate, though?

Two years ago, I broke tradition and bought her a cute little bucket with yellow Tulips in it. It was so beautiful and she made quite a fiss over it. The following November, I planted the Tulip bulbs in her garden and last year, they made a lovely showing. This year, however, she said the squirrels and chipmunks seem to have displaced them. Or eaten them!

Well, while at Lowe's a few days ago, they had the standard Easter Lilies, but on the bottom shelf, I discovered these stunning Azaleas! I thought they were so beautiful, so I told Husband I needed to buy one last night. When I brought it out to the truck, he asked why I didn't buy one for myself?

Hmmm.....I never thought of that!
