Two-fer!

I apologize, first, for yet another Rose-Breasted Woodpecker photo! Secondly, for the poor quality of this photo.

I was in the living room when I saw a woodpecker sitting on the suet feeder, stuffing his beak. He was making so much noise, it sounded like someone was knocking at the front door! Another Rose-Breasted Woodpecker flew over to the same feeder and the first one pounded on the second bird's head with that huge beak!

I came upstairs and saw the accosted bird sitting on a tree branch. Then the accosting bird came hopping up the side of the tree! I quickly brought my camera up and snapped away! Of course, by the time it would take for a second photo, the bird on the tree had hopped on further up the tree....

I was so amazed to get two birds, but I only wish the camera had been mounted on the monopod! Shoot!!!
