goosanders on the Tweed

Meandered down to Peebles for a conference with colleagues. After arriving at the Hydro, 2 of us went for a totter along the river while updating on various meetings we'd separately attended, and went back to the Hydro via the ice cream shop.

This pair were handily posing on the river. Reasonably certain they are goosanders as they have the bent bit on the bill. That might not show up on this blip, but did on another of just the male.
