starlings in the sun

Went into town today to buy a tripod to use with my camera. When I arrived at the shop after a coffee and chocolate twist at a nearby cafe, I found an ex-housemate behind the counter. So I not only bought a good tripod at a reasonable price, but caught up on some gossip too. It was a tad chilly and by the time the bus home came along, I was almost too cold to move. Later it snowed on and off, but it didn't lie. And then the sun came out! The starlings rarely perch here later in the day, usually first thing with the sun behind them. Couldn't resist blipping them with the sun behind me! Except I'm indoors taking this out of my window.
