inspired by bumblebees
I was digging in the front garden this afternoon and became aware that there was a bumblebee buzzing very near the overgrown geranium that I was trying to sort out. As I watched, he disappeared down a small hole in front of me. The perfect blip, I thought to myself and went to fetch my camera. When I returned, I wasn't sure if he was at home, or out foraging.
Suddenly, he buzzed by me and crawled back into his home. All I had to do was wait with camera at the ready for him to come out of his hole..........Fifteen minutes later, I realised he was taking an extended tea break and would not be out again any time soon.
Result - a picture of a bee home. You must take my word for it that the bee is at home!
