We're all set for the work to begin!

Here is the front bedroom, which is wonderfully large, and now totally stripped of wallpaper. Some sections of the uncovered wall are like works of art in themselves!

We're all ready for them to start on Monday morning! My next job - to start and pack up books and stuff from our small back bedroom. When they start on knocking through there will be dust everywhere so I'll need to pack everything away.

The sun came out mid afternoon. Though there was still a certain amount of haze about the temperature rose dramatically and it was very pleasant being outside. I even managed to re-coat the rabbits outside run with preservative and also do a little garden tidying.

We're waiting for friends now who are coming to share a meal with us.
