An Experiment

Maybe more of a curiosity really.

I am intending changing the picture 2 or 3 times during the day as work progresses on my platter.

So those of you who check in regularly during the day should see changes.

The first shot should have been posted a couple of hours earlier so may not be up for as long as it should be as shot no2 is ready to be uploaded.

Of course things may go to hell in a handbasket if I cock up the editing process.
Watch this space as they say.

Edit 1

There may not be as many changs I wanted - but here is the first.

I mixed up some resin and poured it into the channel. I then poured in the blue stone chips (with loads of extra) and then left it all to dry.

Edit 2

It may not be that different from the last upload, but I have taken off all the excess stone and given it a coat of finish.

However - due to the crap weather the finish has not dried yet so that I am unable to put the 2nd coat on, stand it up and shoot the gloss.

Originally I was going to sand back the turquoise so that it was flush with the wood but I actually quite liked the way it looked with the roughness ..... so I left it.

For those that missed todays earlier shots ............... tough.

Actually - you can find them Here and here
