Ailsa Craig

We went to Wigtown today, to spend 2 days in Dumfries & Galloway.
It was quite a long drive from Edinburgh, but we stopped off to say hello to some of my family in Girvan.
This view of Ailsa Craig is taken from the north side of Girvan.
It is an iconic landmark and is evocative for me, as that is a view which I saw every day, on my way to school in Girvan-- just a few years ago!
