Beautiful day in Edinburgh

This is the view from our garden swing at the back of the back garden. The lawn awaits its first cut of the season, but has been scarified and aerated.
S has been working in the front garden all day in the bright sunshine.

The trees in the foreground are our fruit trees, which are at their most beautiful when they are in blossom, which will be quite soon. I think it is the promise of spring which makes it the best season of all.
