Sticking their necks out!

In order to give these untended geese some supplementary food, We have to put little piles of pellets the other side of the fence. Why? The beast, otherwise known as Royalist the Wensleydale tup, eats anything in sight. He's a funny old thing but I forgive him because he does give some protection from the fox to these vulnerable birds.
Spent the morning in Oxfam and it has started to get a bit busier with the better weather. 'My' elderly lady came to see me and we always have a giggle together. She's only 97 she told me after her last birthday when she thought she was going to be 98!
After lunch successfully turned up a pair of trousers, very pleased as I don't rate sewing as my favourite thing. Did the afternoon walk round the fields and called in to feed my friend's hens as she is away. Reward - a few eggs.
Off to see 'The Artist' tonight at the local cinema. I am intrigued that a silent film is a multi-award winning film. Review tomorrow!
