Full Bloom

I know I normally 'do' books on Mondays, but today I got out into the garden early and took some photos of the daffodils (finally arrived) and the beautiful pink bush overhanging the fence from next door.

I last took a photo of this on 27th January - earlier photo - when the buds were just coming out. Then I called it a Flowering Raspberry, but looking at Google Images I think I may be mistaken and this is something else, still beautiful of course, just not sure what it is!

So then it was down to the bookshop this afternoon. Nothing very exciting had come in to list; the most interesting was a first edition (1915) book 'The Personal Life of Josiah Wedgewood the Potter' by his great granddaughter Julia Wedgwood. Not bad nick for a book nearly one hundred years old.
