Rest Day

Today we headed south to a different beach, Playa Blanca, to spend time with some friends at Chula Vida, a restaurant outside of Barra de Potosi. I went with good intentions of being active, my kayak was on the car and I packed a number of beach games. Once the buckets of beer arrived at our beautiful ocean-side table under the palapa, I barely moved from my chair except to utilize the hammock. That these beers were later accompanied by some of the best food in quite a while, Caesar salad and amazingly thick tuna steak, and that the companionship was excellent; meant this was truly a rest day extraordinaire.
