Cultural Performance

Tonight was the final night of the Tuesday/Thursday cultural performances in Zihuatanejo's downtown square (adjacent to the beachside basketball court). For whatever reason we have attended few of the performances this year, but were happy to make the final one tonight. It started with a dance group and ended (at least as long as we stayed) with this "traditional" singer. Those of us in the audience wondered about the gun on his hip, but it did seem to encourage us all to applaud enthusiastically at the conclusion of each song.
