Homespun Charms

From Kepwick Nab

Another beautiful day to wake up to. The garden was covered in frost and the pond had a layer of ice - but the sky was blue and the sun was shining again!
Set off mid-morning to walk from the village of Kepwick up on to the moor top. I took lots of potential blips including one which showed the mole catcher's haul. There were lots of poor little moles impaled on a barbed wire fence in the foreground of the picture, but I didn't think you would want to see that. (moles can dig in my garden anytime!) We took a circular route and came back via Kepwick Nab which is a great viewing point in all directions.
Signs of Spring everywhere, daffodils, pussy willow and the rooks were paired up and nest building in the tree tops.
Just a gorgeous day. Do I dare to hope it will last, hope so.
